Join us on board Royal Caribbean International Explorer of the Seas for a 7-night cruise while participating in an Australian Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support course (level 1). This course was developed for healthcare professionals in hospitals, general medical practices and community health facilities. The course focuses on developing foundation skills, knowledge and confidence in managing medical emergencies including the rapidly deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest.

Departing Sydney on 8 April 2018, this wonderful 7-night educational cruise visits colourful Noumea and idyllic Lifou. The ALS course is provided by EMTA as an authorised Australian Resuscitation Council course centre and is presented over 4 sessions of around 2 hours each. This relaxed schedule allows plenty of time for you to enjoy the cruise and fantastic ports, experience the onboard entertainment and socialise with other guests.

Earn a minimum of 8 CPD hours!

Course program includes:

  • Practical workshops/simulations
  • Cardiac arrest management using the most current ARC guidelines
  • Recognition, assessment and management of the critically ill patient
  • Airway management skills
  • Basic Life Support, CPR and defibrillation skills
  • A certificate upon completion, valid for 4 years
