McGrath Foundation Scholarship

The McGrath Foundation is committed to championing the breast care nurse profession and providing professional development opportunities to nurses interested in pursuing a career in breast care nursing.
Scholarships are available annually for registered nurses to complete the Australian College of Nursing’s Graduate Certificate in Breast Cancer Nursing.

Applications for scholarships for study in 2016 are now closed and will not open again until 2017

Four scholarships are available, with at least one scholarship for a nurse who is, and identifies as, of Aboriginal or Torres Strait islander descent. Each scholarship pays the tuition fees for the course. 

The scholarships will be awarded to the applicants who can best demonstrate by completing the Australian College of Nursing’s Graduate Certificate in Breast Cancer Nursing they will both add to the body of knowledge on Breast Cancer Nursing roles and have the potential to improve patient care and outcomes.

It is necessary to make a separate application for the course.
