Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme (NAHSSS), an Australian Government Scholarship Program.

The NAHSSS program has been operating since 2011 and administered by the Australian College of Nursing (ACN). The aim of the scheme has been to grow the health workforce and improve the professional knowledge of the nursing profession by providing scholarships to financially support students, nurses and midwives while they undertake study.
 
Applications for all NAHSSS scholarships are currently closed.  Australian College of Nursing is waiting to be advised by the Department of Health about future scholarships for 2017.

Continuing Professional DevelopmentFunding to attend short courses, conferences, seminars or workshops
Clinical PlacementFor undergraduate students, nurses and midwives to undertake a placement in an Emergency Department.
NAHSSS Remote ScholarshipsFor nurses and midwives living and working in remote areas
