ACN is excited to announce an upgrade to our community platform, the Buzz. The new version will go live on 19 October 2026. Here, we answer some key questions. If you can’t find what you need, contact the Engagement Team at engagement@acn.edu.au, and we will continue to update this page. We will also be providing help and how-to guides here.
Features
- Redesigned navigation and user experience

What’s staying the same
Your login details will not change. And, importantly, content from the Buzz will not be lost: existing discussions, connections, faculty and region groups, and member profiles will be migrated from the old platform, so you can pick up where you left off.
Our launch timeline
- From now – 4 October: normal operations on existing Buzz platform.
- 5–11 October: the current Buzz platform will be read only – members cannot post.
- 12–18 October: the current Buzz platform will be inaccessible due to technical transition.
- Launch week – from 19 October: The newly enhanced Buzz platform will go live. Guides and resources will become available, with ongoing access to support and training resources.
Volunteer opportunities
As part of the transition to the new platform, all current leadership team opportunities will be put on hold for the duration of the upgrade. During this time, should you have any enquiries regarding Leadership Team vacancies please contact the Engagement Team via engagement@acn.edu.au.
ACN Representation opportunities will continue during this time and will be communicated directly to members as opportunities become available.
