Are you a registered nurse who is looking to re-enter the nursing workforce in an acute hospital setting? Eastern Health is offering Registered Nurses with current (condition free) registration with AHPRA an opportunity to re-enter the nursing workforce through a supported program of education, clinical teaching, ward based learning and additional support.  The Refresher Program will support you to gain experience and confidence in the acute clinical setting.

The Refresher Program can be undertaken full-time (over 6 weeks) or part-time (over 8 weeks).  The program includes access to clinical educator support, professional development study days, skill acquisition via simulation based learning and clinical placement in the acute ward setting.

On successful completion of the program you will have the opportunity to apply for suitable positions within Eastern Health.

This program is not suitable for newly qualified nurses.  Applicants who have not completed a Graduate Nurse program, or who cannot demonstrate a work history as a Registered Nurse in Australia will not be considered.
