Clinical Educator – Workforce Development (Mt Gambier)

Full time or part time permanent position (negotiable)

Resthaven is highly respected for the provision of responsive and quality services to older people and their carers. Our Mt Gambier site is a modern, well-appointed 100 bed facility (including 2 respite) and is located in the heart of the town.


An opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join the leadership team at Resthaven Mt Gambier, who will contribute to the provision of quality care and services through the coordination and delivery of staff development and training activities focussed on contemporary aged care practices. Duties of the role include:

  • Provision of on-the-job mentorship and learning through feedback and coaching of staff across all roles and all shifts
  • Participation in the design and delivery of clinical training packages that align with site and organisational learning needs
  • In conjunction with the site leadership team, proactively monitor and respond to evolving staff learning needs through regular review of care and clinical practices of staff.
  • Promote a positive learning environment.


The successful applicant will be a Registered Nurse who is registered with AHPRA, with a strong commitment to providing quality care and services to older people.
