Clinical Nurse (Ingham Health Service)
Ideally seeking nurses with experience in a similar role or post graduate experience obtained from working within a busy emergency department or in a rural and remote setting.
Position Type: Permanent full-time and part-time.
Provides clinical expertise, support, leadership and education to nursing staff within the hospital to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care and to support and communicate effectively with the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
The Clinical Nurse is expected to apply critical thinking across all domains, which include provision of care, support of systems, education, research and professional leadership.
Ingham Health Service provides an integrated service, encompassing a range of community-based services, provision of Allied Health services and traditional hospital-based services including an Inpatient ward, an Emergency Department, a limited range of surgical procedures and a range of support services including X-ray, Pharmacy, Administration and Operational Services.
Generous remuneration package value up to $113,024 p.a. comprising salary range of $3535.50 to $3785.80 p.f. or $46.51 to $49.81 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6-Band 1), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation. Requirements of the role
• Mandatory: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
• On call: Appointees will be required to participate in an on call roster.
• Highly Desirable: Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position would be well regarded.
