Coordinator (Registered Nurse) Community Services

With more than 21 sites throughout metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia, Resthaven works together with older people and their carers to provide outstanding care and support.


We have a full time position available with our Northern Community Services program located at Elizabeth. We are seeking an experienced and committed Registered Nurse who would like to work in a caring and supportive environment, focussed on delivering quality care to older people in their own home.


You will be required to:


  • Provide and coordinate quality nursing and care services in a home setting
  • Contribute to the assessment of needs
  • Develop and implement care plans as required
  • Ensure professional communication with clients, families and staff
  • Provide support and assistance to maintain high standard of services in the community


You will be experienced in Program Coordination, providing support, training and supervision to staff. In addition to the above you will possess sound computer skills, effective organisational and communication skills, together with empathy and understanding towards the needs of older people.


Experience working in a community setting with an understanding of My Aged Care, Home Care Packages using a consumer directed model of service delivery will be highly regarded.


It is essential that you have current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a current driver’s license. Some out of hours on call work will apply.
