Central Adelaide Local health Network has over 13,000 staff, a budget of $2 billion and comprises five hospitals:
- Royal Adelaide hospital, a major quaternary facility
- The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, a general hospital
- Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre,
- St Margaret’s Rehabilitation Hospital
- Glenside Hospital, acute and community mental health rehabilitation
along with State-wide services including SA Dental Service SA Prison Health Service, SA Cancer Service, BreastScreen SA DonateLife SA and State-wide Clinical Support Services incorporating SA Pathology, SA Medical Imaging and SA Pharmacy.
CALHN is now seeking an outstanding, inspirational and resilient leader as its Executive Director of Nursing and Patient Experience. The successful candidate will be an active, outcomes-focused member of the Executive leadership team, with the ability to contribute to organisation-wide, effective and timely strategic change and agreed financial targets.
The ED, Nursing & Patient Experience will be registered as a General Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate and a post graduate qualification, such as a Master of Business Administration (Healthcare Management), or similar. This position has line management and operational responsibility for staff within the Nursing Directorate and Patient Experience team and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, CALHN.
