This position is located in the National Standards Program. The Program’s purpose is to develop and maintain the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and resources, and support implementation of the Standards and the Australian Health Services Safety and Quality Accreditation (AHSSQA) Scheme.
The Commission has established an Advice Line to support the implementation of the NSQHS Standards in health service organisations and assist assessors using the NSQHS Standards to assess organisations.
The National Standards Advice Line Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Advice Line and will deliver exceptional and professional service to health service organisations, assessors, clinicians and others contacting the Advice Line.
The National Standards Advice Line Manager will also provide project management, research and program support to the National Standards Program as required.
The National Standards Advice Line Manager will be expected to work with limited supervision, within a team context and with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires excellent skills in relationship management and communication, problem solving, time management and research and would suit a high performing candidate with registered nursing qualifications.
