Return to Register

The Return to Register program (RTR) program is designed for registered nurses and enrolled nurses previously registered in Australia returning to practice.  The program builds on previous knowledge, skills and experience in preparation for demonstration of safe practice at entry to practice level according to the relevant Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competencies/Professional Standards.

ACN provides an Entry Program for Internationally Qualified nurses (EPIQ) for internationally qualified nurses seeking registration in Australia. Click here for more information

The RTR program is a NMBA approved program accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC).

Nurses must be referred by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) / Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to enroll in the EPIQ or RTR program.
