Immunisation: Tuberculosis Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) (NSW Only)

This course is designed for registered nurses who are required to perform Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccinations (BCG) as part of their roles. The purpose of the course is to provide you with a theoretical framework you can use in your clinical practice when you are required to administer, discuss after-care and document BCG vaccinations. Completion of the theoretical component and a clinical skills assessment will authorise you to administer this vaccination without the direction of a medical officer within NSW.
