Advanced Diploma of Nursing

Vocational education and training courses

ACN offers the HLT64115 Advanced Diploma of Nursing to assist those looking to further their studies and gain additional qualifications.

The HLT64115 Advanced Diploma of Nursing is designed for enrolled nurses who are looking to extend their knowledge and skills in a chosen specialty – Acute Care, Aged Care & Individual Support, Critical Care and Perioperative Nursing.

CPD training

ACN offers a range of short face-to-face, webinar and online CPD courses to assist you in achieving the hours required by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia for annual renewal and authority to practice.

Principles of Emergency Care

ACN offers the 20-week short course Principles of Emergency Care. There are two course options available – one option is for Registered Nurses (RNs), and the other is suited for Enrolled Nurses (ENs). Both courses will equip RNs and ENs with the knowledge underpinning the skills needed in order to render first-line emergency care of acutely ill patients in the clinical setting.

Students who have successfully completed the course will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment and 150 CPD hours.

Endorsements

Enhance the credentials of your course, workshop, seminar or conference. Endorsement by ACN is a quality assurance process; it is a guarantee that an education activity has been scrutinised by ACN and approved as meeting our professional standards and requirements for nurse education.

Providers may choose to seek endorsement from ACN for a single activity such as a workshop, seminar, conference, short course or online learning program.
