Nurses serve wherever they are needed in peacetime, in conflict and in war.

Since the South African (Boer) War, 102 Australian nurses have died on active service, while many civilian nurses have given their lives serving others.

“All nurses serve the people for whom they care”.

The Australian and New Zealand Pain Societies welcome you to the 2018 conjoint Annual Scientific Meeting. The conference invites you to Collaborate. Educate. Disseminate.  Collaborate with the many professions that are involved with pain and pain management; educate alongside clinicians and researchers across many different aspects of pain management; and leave the conference enabled to make a difference in your sphere of work.

Join us on board Royal Caribbean International Explorer of the Seas for a 7-night cruise while participating in an Australian Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support course (level 1). This course was developed for healthcare professionals in hospitals, general medical practices and community health facilities. The course focuses on developing foundation skills, knowledge and confidence in managing medical emergencies including the rapidly deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest.

The Society is dedicated to leadership in patient care, research, and education in cancer nursing.
