Jul 10

The purpose of the one day How fit is your brain?® Mindfulness workshop is to provide a practical introduction into mindfulness and self-awareness practices, offering a deep understanding as to why you would want to embrace the practices. Participants will gain insight into the EYI education, activations and practices inclusive of meditation and breath. This workshop is practical based and utilises an engaging multimedia delivery for skill development, in a language that is today.

The Canberra Health Annual Research Meeting (CHARM) is the premier conference for communication and translation of health-related research practice in the ACT, and provides networking, collaboration and capacity building opportunities.

The principle themes of the meeting include Population Health, Clinical and Surgical Research, Laboratory Science, and Allied Health Research, including Sports Medicine. In addition to keynote sessions by Dr Craig Jenne, Professor Peter MacDonald, Professor Katie Allen and Professor Alison Kitson, the program includes a wide variety of presentations from local researchers, a poster viewing event and an awards dinner.

The National Nursing Forum (NNF) is the Australian College of Nursing’s signature annual event bringing together nurses, students and other health professionals from around the country and across the globe. Our theme this year, Make Change Happen, is a celebration of innovative nurses finding their power to make a difference to patients, communities and social determinates of health; nationally and globally.

The ACNP conference for nurse practitioners and advanced practice nurses will be hosted in Brisbane for the first time in 2017.

ACNP 2017 integrates NursePrac ED (Emergency Care) and new clinical streams including NursePrac CD (Chronic Disease) and NursePrac PC (Primary Health Care) with clinical highlights on mental health, women’s health, rural and remote, paediatrics and obesity.

The 3rd Australian Nursing and Midwifery Conference is hosted by Hunter New England Local Health District, The University of Newcastle and The University of New England. The Conference will be held on 14th & 15th September 2017 at Newcastle Exhibition & Convention Centre (NEX), Newcastle, NSW.

Australasian Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health 2017 Conference

The Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Conference 2017 will be held on Thursday, 30 November to Friday, 1 December 2017 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The conference will centre around leading change and delivering care-effective, cost effective and performance-effective leadership. Nursing and midwifery executives, front-line leaders, educators and researchers will come together to celebrate and share their leadership insights and their achievements.
