ACN conducts a range of major events and conferences focused on nursing practice, professional aspects and clinical education.
Through participation in an ACN event, nurses are empowered to expand their scope of skills, network with like-minded professionals and be involved in influencing and shaping the profession and its practice.
Our signature event is the National Nursing Forum, an annual conference bringing together nurses, students and other health professionals both nationally and internationally. Members are eligible for discounted registration fees for many ACN events on offer.
The National Nursing Forum (NNF) is the Australian College of Nursing’s signature annual leadership and educational event bringing together nurses, students and other health professionals from around the country and across the globe. The 2026 NNF will take place from Thursday 6 to Friday 7 August 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The ACN Nursing & Health Expo is the perfect place to discover and progress your career in the nursing and health professions. The ACN Expo has a strong reputation for connecting visitors with a range of organisations including hospitals, health care services, educational institutions and specialty nursing groups. A wealth of products and services are on show and visitors gain practical take-home advice and skills in a series of complimentary educational seminars. If you are a nurse, currently studying nursing or considering a career in the nursing or health professions, then the ACN Nursing & Health Expo is for you.
ACN’s Policy Summit is an annual forum, where high-calibre nurses and health policy advocates connect in Canberra to address major policy issues for nursing and health care. The Summit brings together nurses and other health professionals to identify and discuss major policy opportunities and strategies to address these.
