At ACN, we value the insights and experiences of our Affiliate Members. Being an ACN Affiliate Member is more than just a relationship; it is about forming connections, supporting each other, and advancing the industry for our nurses, students, and healthcare professionals.
We want to hear directly from our affiliates about why they enjoy being part of our affiliate community. Join us as we delve into their stories and discover what makes affiliate membership with ACN so rewarding.
This month, we are excited to hear from one of our Silver Affiliates, Port Macquarie Wound Care Clinic.
Port Macquarie Wound Care Clinic is an entirely nurse-led service operating on the sunny Mid North Coast of NSW.
Our team of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Support Workers provide comprehensive care for patients with wounds and primary health patients across the region. We promote patient empowerment by providing education and continual support through a patients care journey.
We proudly collaborate with several GP’s and Allied Health specialists to deliver a holistic umbrella of care.
We have been a proud silver affiliate of the Australian College of Nursing for several years now, and we have seen nurses enjoy the benefits of support and education provided directly through the College. We have been blessed to be able to support undergraduate nurses through their journey of studying and working in undergraduate roles through this journey. To be able to support our undergraduate staff, through to graduation and beyond is so special to us.
The affiliation team has become like a family to our team, and I highly recommend becoming an official affiliate to the Australian College of Nursing if you are after a supportive, comprehensive, and highly respected network of support to your workplace.
I cannot thank the affiliation team enough for the support and education they have provided myself and our team over the years.
