Overview
The Introduction to Dermatology Nursing microcredential is designed for registered nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) who work in various environments. The purpose of this microcredential is to explore legal and ethical issues in dermatology nursing and anatomy of the integumentary system. The first topic discusses the nurses’ roles and the specific ethical and legal issues that might arise in dermatology nursing. Students will then move on to the following topics which focus on the anatomy and physiology of the integumentary system. This knowledge can be applied to nursing practice through various activities and assessments.

Ran is coordinating the Graduate Certificate in Cosmetic Nursing in ACN. Ran has over 5 years of tertiary education experience in VET sector and higher education in Australia. She has extensive experience in providing lectures and tutorials to nursing students to promote learning. She has worked as a registered nurse in various clinical settings in Australia public hospitals for over 7 years. With a great passion in teaching and guiding, she continues to contribute towards training and supervision of workplace assessors and professional development programs.
