This unit of study explores the clinical specialty of Diagnostic Medical Imaging Nursing, and identifies professional issues related to specialist practice through the delivery of comprehensive person-centred care.
Students will examine the principles of diagnostic medical imaging nursing through analysing and exploring nursing’s professional, legal, and ethical aspects and examining the provision and coordination of evidence-based, collaborative care required to meet the diverse needs of persons in the medical imaging environment.
