We are continuously updating the tools we provide to support, inform and inspire NurseStrong participants.
To allow nurses to stay motivated throughout 2020 we are currently offering a free motivational calendar!
The calendar will help you stay on track by providing space to select one nutrition, exercise and mindfulness goal every month, tick off whether you have achieved the goal every day and choose how to reward yourself at the end of the month.
Our Random Acts of Kindness NurseStrong campaign encourages participants to ‘pay it forward’ by surprising others with inspirational messages. The campaign is based on the notion that bringing joy to others’ lives will also reward participants with a sense of gratitude, compassion and happiness.
Click here to receive your electronic Random Acts of Kindness Cards. We encourage you to print off the file, cut out the cards and distribute them to brighten the day of your colleagues, friends, loved ones or strangers. For example, you can place a card on someone’s workstation or windscreen.
Join us for the NurseStrong Step-a-thon!
Exercising with a group is more fun and motivating, that’s why we are organising NurseStrong Step-a-thon Walks around the country.
Join us for a 30-40-minute walk, enjoy some fresh air and connect with like-minded nurses.
The first attendees to arrive at each walk will receive a free NurseStrong pedometer to keep them motivated throughout their health and well-being journey.
Register now to join a NurseStrong Step-a-thon Walk in a capital city near you.
If you would like to organise an independent Step-a-thon Walk in your area please complete the Regional Step-a-thon Organiser Form. We will send you a poster and suggested email wording to promote your walk and a merchandise pack of goodies to distribute to attendees.
If you have any queries please feel free to contact email@example.com.
Join the NurseStrong group on Facebook to connect with other nurses who are supporting each other on their health and well-being journeys. The group provides a safe and supportive environment for nurses to exchange exercise, nutrition and well-being tips and tricks and keep each other accountable.
Health and wellbeing resources
We’ve found some fantastic resources to support your health and wellbeing journey.
We are so excited to see nurses across the country forming exercise or walking groups and workplaces implementing healthy lifestyle initiatives to support the wellbeing of their staff. If you are involved in a NurseStrong initiative we’d love to find out more about it. You can get in touch with us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
