ACN Grants and Awards
ACN funds and administers a number of grants and awards that are available to Fellows and Members of ACN. Applications for the 2018 awards will open early in the new year.
Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme (NAHSSS)
This program is complete and applications will not be opening again.
ACN will continue to support all existing NAHSSS and Aged Care Nursing Scholarship recipients.
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program is a new initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health. As of 1 July, 2017 the Consortium of Rural Workforce Agencies will deliver the Health Workforce Scholarship Program with Health Workforce Queensland as the Lead Agency.
The Scholarship Program will be available to eligible medical, nursing and allied health professionals working in primary health care not employed by the relevant State Government and located in or providing services to areas categorised as Modified Monash 3-7 under the Modified Monash Model. The Scholarship Program guidelines and eligibility criteria are in development.

Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation Scholarships
The Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation is committed to the education of nurses working in the field of bone marrow and stem cell therapy. Up to six scholarships are available for registered nurses to complete the following ACN postgraduate certificate subjects:
- Chemotherapy and other Systemic Treatments in Cancer Care
- Blood and Marrow Transplantation
- Haematology Nursing
